About Dialogue

Sefton Dialogue is an online space where you can share your ideas and help shape services, projects and communities across Sefton.

It gives people an opportunity to take part in conversations, share suggestions, comment on other people's ideas and see what other participants are saying.

We use Sefton Dialogue alongside other ways of listening to residents and communities. This helps us hear from a wider range of people and understand different views, experiences and priorities.

Sefton Dialogue is used by teams and services across Sefton Council. It is the main place to find online conversations on a range of topics and service areas. You can use Sefton Dialogue to find conversations that interest you or are relevant to the services you use and the places where you live.

How it works

You can browse Sefton Dialogue without creating an account.

If you register, you can:

  • share your own ideas
  • comment on ideas from other people
  • rate contributions
  • take part in discussions.

Before adding a new idea, we encourage you to look at what other people have already shared. You may find a similar idea that you can support, comment on or add to.

What happens to your feedback?

When a conversation or consultation closes, we review the feedback received.

We will explain what we have heard and, where possible, how people's ideas, comments and ratings have helped inform decisions or future actions.

Taking part does not mean that every suggestion can be taken forward. However, all relevant feedback will help us understand what matters to people and communities across Sefton.

Keeping Sefton Dialogue welcoming and inclusive

We want everyone to feel able to take part.

Please be respectful of other people's views and do not include personal or sensitive information in anything you post.

Contributions are moderated to help keep Sefton Dialogue a safe, respectful and inclusive space.
